“I served in the United States Marine Corps for 22 years, from 1989 to 2011. During my time in service, I held a variety of roles, starting as an infantryman, then moving into security forces, logistics and supply planning, aircrew on a Huey, and eventually recruiting. I was fortunate to return to Wisconsin as a recruiter and even led the recruiting station in Wausau before retiring.
